About the Artist

From her early days inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog to her current work as a professional illustrator, Caitlin Blaine has always been a storyteller. Based in Southwest Missouri, Caitlin blends a classical background—holding a BFA in Drawing from Missouri State University—with over 15 years of digital expertise in Adobe Photoshop.

Her diverse career has taken her from the gaming world, where she developed 2D assets for the Nintendo DS at Black Lantern Studios, to her latest role as a Project Manager and Designer for a digital marketing agency. This unique combination of creative talent and leadership allows her to manage complex workflows while delivering high-impact designs and character concepts for her clients. Today, her primary creative focus is her fantasy webcomic, Moxie (moxiecomic.com), where she brings her love for manga-influenced art to life.

Outside of the studio, Caitlin is a lover of cats, chai tea, the Oxford comma, and above all, Jesus Christ. Whether she’s rolling dice in a D&D game, gardening, or relaxing with her husband and their pets, she brings the same creativity and heart to her life as she does to her canvas.
